London, 1954.  Blue cloth in dust wrapper, 10 1/2 x 7 inches.  Fine/near fine.  Dust wrapper with just some light age-toning and minimal wear, now protected in a mylar sleeve.  Illustrated with facsimiles.  A supplement was published later.  An excellent reference work.  (I knew Klickstein: he was devoted to medical history and was an all-around good fellow - NK). McMURTRIE, Douglas C.
[TWO TITLES] THE BEGINNINGS OF PRINTING IN FLORIDA and A PRELIMINARY SHORT-TITLE CHECK LIST OF BOOKS, PAMPHLETS AND BROADSIDES PRINTED IN FLORIDA 1784 – 1860. 
The first title, "The Beginnings of Printing in Florida" was published by The Book Farm in Hattiesburg, Miss., 1944.  It measures 9 x 6 inches in printed blue wrappers with some light age-toning.  36 pages, illustrated with facsimiles.  Front lower corner creased, overall a very good copy.  The second title, "A Preliminary Short-Title Check List. . ." was a WPA publication from Jacksonville, Florida in 1937.  It measures 11 x 8 1/2 inches in printed blue wrappers with some light sun-fading and markings to cover.  15 pages.  Overall, a very good copy.  The two for:  ($45)  $20

N. Y., 1952. First edition.  A signed, presentation copy from the author to Mr. and Mrs. Webster Plass who are prominently mentioned in the Acknowledgements.  Beneath Segy's inscription to the Plass family is an inscription from Mrs. Platt detailing her own rather amusing view on the book and its author.  Brown cloth stamped in black and gold, 11 1/4 x 8 1/4 inches.  Light rubbing to bottom of front cover.   Map end-papers depicting Africa.  A very nice copy, made the more so by the inscriptions. Some light wear to top and bottom edges of spine.  Light, very occasional spotting to front covers.  Top edge gilt.  Edges uncut.  Hinges strengthened.  A very good copy. ($50)  $15
