TITLE: “Etchings by American Artists including an extensive series by
Frank W. Benson and examples by Woodbury, Winkler, Gallagher, Hall,
Bicknell, etc., formed by the late Desmond Fitzgerald of Brookline, Mass.”

DISCUSSION: The catalog to the sale of a very fine collection primarily
devoted to hunting and waterfowling etchings. According to the catalog
Foreword, the first collection of this type to be sold at auction.

DESCRIPTION: Softcover. 6.5”x9.5”, 72 pages, 321 lots, black & white
illustrations. Priced in the margins.

CONDITION NOTES: Small label on the cover, cover soil and a stain in the
lower left quadrant. You cannot see it in the pictures, but the slight
marginal stain does appear, very lightly, on some of the pages. Otherwise
good internally.
