Club, 1964. Tall octavo (8-1/2" x 11") bound in imported white English
vellum-backed blue Fabriano paper boards stamped in pure gold leaf; 340
pages. Designed by Adrian Wilson and translated by Thomas Common.
Illustrated with decorated chapter initials and initials silk-screened
in white and gold on deep-blue Fabriano paper inserts by Arnold Bank.
Copy #839 of 1500. Issued unsigned. Lovely edition of this classic.
Tasteful bookplate of James Earl Beall on the front pastedown. Fine in
glassine and Near Fine slipcase with darkened backstrip. (#015561)
