FS: Hollywood related: Savings books of George Cukor (director)
Two Bank of America savings passbooks, dating from 1937 to May, 1950. Famous
film director George Cukor consistently made deposits of (usually)
$500-$2000 per week from June 1937 to May 1950. Each book is 4 x 2.25
inches, both indicate his address as 9166 Cordell Dr. Los Angeles 46. Both
from the Beverly Hills branch. Both in very good condition. I'll bet that
there was a decent interest rate then, too. These books show deposits only,
no totals or withdrawals.
$100 postpaid for both
Contact me at theprintsandthepaper at comcast.net if you are interested.
