Thefirst edition of an important French philosophical text, and the author's mostimportant work. A 4th ed. in French appeared in 1682. In 1723 anEnglish translation appeared, ROHAULT'S SYSTEM OF NATURAL PHILOSOPHY, and wasreprinted a number of times.
