A very early Newbery imprint. John Newberry began his greatpublishing firm in Reading in 1740. He moved to London by early 1744. Ouranonymous work appeared with both London and Reading imprints (two differentissues), it is one of the last Newbery books to have a Reading imprint. RoscoeA157(2).
