SWIFT, Jonathan. THE TRAVELS OF LEMUEL GULLIVER. [New York]: Limited 
Editions Club, 1929. Quarto (7-3/8" x 11-1/8") bound in natural linen 
with backed with pigskin and iillustrated by Alexander King. The first 
book of the press and apparently the first illustrated edition of this 
classic satire aimed at adults. Of a total of 1500 copies SIGNED by the 
artist on the colophon page, this copy is not numbered (in place of the 
number is written in ink "Office Copy") and bears the Club's blindstamp 
stating it is one of 15 presentation copies. Spine a little darkened and 
dry with a small rubbed spot at the heel and a small chip at the head.
