Signature is on a 3-1/4 x 4-inch publisher's slip with a triple border, the middle one  matching the decorative endpapers. 8vo. in original illustrated dust wrapper.  The chilling psychological  thriller of  Dr. Hannibal Lecter continues.  A pristine copy.  Harris' signed books are uncommon.  ($40)  $25

LEONARD, William Ellery.  THE LYNCHING BEE AND OTHER POEMS.  N.Y., 1920.  1st edition. Small 8vo. (approx 7-1/2 x 5 inches) in green boards with paper title label on spine. Title label a little darkened and edgechipped, and "shadow" of  erased penciled notes on front free endpaper, otherwise a very good copy. The lengthy title-poem powerfully describes the emasculation and burning of an Afro-American man. Other topics include Tom Mooney, Leo Frank, "The Mountain of Skulls," "To the Dead Doughboys," &c. SHAW, G. Bernard, (Editor).  FABIAN ESSAYS IN SOCIALISM.  London, (1890).  2nd edition. Original green cloth with elaborate title design and illustration by Walter Crane, showing, in an arboreal context,  the figure of "Privilege" under attack by the noble worker. 8-1/4 x 5-1/2 inches; vii, 233 pages plus publisher's ads at rear. Contributors include Sydney Webb, William Clarke, Sydney Olivier; Annie Besant, Graham Wallas, and Hubert Bland. Fourteen pages of publisher's advertising at rear including a tipped-in color fold-out. A little rubbed at corners and head and heel of spine, and 1-1/2-inch scratch on bottom margin of  front cover, otherwise an excellent copy . ($40)  $12.50

LONG, Frank Belknap.  MONSTER FROM OUT OF TIME.  London, (1971).  1st hardbound copy in dust wrapper. Original black boards with color illustrated dust wrapper. Corners a little bumped with bottom corner of dust wrapper showing a little wear, but no chipping. A very good copy of this Sci-Fi classic.  ($40)  $12.50

CRICHTON, Michael.  THE ANDROMEDA STRAIN.  London, (1969).  1st London edition in blue boards with original illustrated dust wrapper. Modest signature on front free endpaper and dw a little edge-rubbed. "An extraordinary novel of the world's first space-age biological emergency."  ($40) $17.50

NICOLSON, Harold.  PUBLIC FACES. A NOVEL.  London, 1932.  1st edition. Bound in attractive patterned boards, backed in cloth. Gilt lettering on spine. 7 x 4-3/4 inches; 350, (2) pages.  A novel of future war, listed in Bleiler. (A world crisis in 1939 resulting from the use of rocket-propelled planes and an atom bomb by the British. Charleston and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina are destroyed.  Politician, diplomat, husband of Vita Sackville-West.)  ($40)  $17.50
