Mixed edition; volumes one and two are later printings, volume three is a first edition.   Three 8vo volumes, bound in three-quarter red morocco and cloth for the Charles Lauriat bookshop, gilt lettered and tooled spines, t.e.g.   lvi, 773; xlv, 760; xlvi, 862 pp.   With 24 portraits and 89 maps, including a larger folding map at the rear of volume three.   Very s light bump at the foot of the spine on volume three, otherwise a fine set.
