We write to remind you that our Dutch Auction ends Sunday at 11:59 pm North Carolina
Time.
The discount schedule is below and the discount has reached 60%.  Again, please 
note that the prices shown on our site at www.allingtonbooks.com are the undiscounted
prices and the discount will be applied when we process your order.  (No charge 
is made to your card until we process your order.)

Needing to either clear some shelves or rent more space, we have taken a new approach
this week  and announce our Dutch Auction.
The Terms of the Auction are as follows:
1.  The items subject to this Dutch Auction can be found using the below link or
 by clicking "Dutch Auction" under Browse Categories on our Home Page at www.allingtonbooks.com
2.  The Auction has begun and will end on November 4, 2012 at 11:59 pm North Carolina
time.
3.  The prices shown on our site are the undiscounted prices.  If you purchase an
item via our site during the Auction, we will charge your card only the Dutch Auction
price plus the shipping you choose.  Until the item is purchased or the Auction 
ends, the Dutch Auction price will decrease each day during the Auction.  The purchase
price charged to your card for an item will be based on the date of your order and
will be determined by discounting the item's price by the percentage shown below:
Monday, October 29, 2012:  a 40% discount will be applied.
Tuesday, October 30, 2012:  a 45% discount will be applied.
Wednesday, October 31, 2012:  a 50% discount will be applied.
Thursday, November 1, 2012:  a 55% discount will be applied.
Friday, November 2, 2012:  a 60% discount will be applied.
Saturday, November 3, 2012:  a 65% discount will be applied.
Sunday, November 4, 2012:  a 70% discount will be applied
For example: if you purchase a $100 item on Thursday, November 1, 2012, your card
will be charged $45 for the item plus the price of the shipping you choose.
Unless otherwise specifically stated, all books are first printings of first editions
for the country of origin and, of course, are subject to prior sale as well as to
being put on hold for a customer's consideration.  Orders sent to an address in 
North Carolina will be charged the applicable sales tax.
