Bound in cont. calf, an Oxford binding, covers with a central arabesque blindstamp and later blindstamped initials "HL" beneath a viscount's coronet (for Henry Yelverton, Viscount Longueville, ca. 1670-1704); head and foot of spine rubbed, edges worn. The pastedowns (now unglued) are two French early 15th century manuscript leaves (196 x 142 mm) from a Canon Law commentary, written in double columns, up to 40 lines, rounded and slightly irregular gothic script in brown ink. 	$2,000.00 (trade discount allowed)
