Nouvelle Edition. Paris: Chez Pierre le Petit. 1674. 4to. (16),552pp. The section on the New Testament has its own title page dated 1671. Illustrated with copper engraved  title page vignettes, and 267 Biblical 1/2 page text engravings (1 for each leaf of text). Cont. burgundy morocco, gilt paneled covers and elaborately gilt spine, somewhat rubbed but sound. Lower fore-edge of front cover with an old repair. Title and preliminaries with moderate soiling & occasional text soiling. Lower outer corner of title page torn off (no text loss).	I would say a "good only" copy, but with a wonderful series of Biblical plates.    $750.00 (trade discount allowed)
