Uncle John's Drolleries; Simple Addition By A Little Nigger. New York: McLoughlin, nd, circa 1870.					                           
Quarto. Unpaginated; three double page and two single page chromolithographic plates plus the cover; Original printed pictorial chromolithographed wrappers. A good or better copy. Spine worn and reinforced by a thread sewn along the length.
Rare Mclouglin piece from the Uncle John's Drolleries series. A variation on the Ten Little Niggers, "One little nigger feeling rather blue, whistled out another nig and that made two" etc...

Grandmother Goose's Series; Nursery Jingles. New York: McLoughlin, nd, circa 1870.					                            				      
Quarto. Unpaginated; one double page and five single page chromolithographic plates plus the cover; Original printed pictorial chromolithographed wrappers. A good or better copy. Spine lightly worn and reinforced by a thread sewn along the length. Previous owner's name lightly in pencil dates the book to 1868.
