Published in New York by E.P. Dutton & Company in 1922.
Edition limited to 950 copies printed by Bruce Rogers and William Edwin
Rudge.

DISCUSSION: A survey of the work of some important American
watercolorists, chosen and introduced by noted art critic and writer
Albert E. Gallatin. The artists were James McNeill Whistler, Winslow
Homer, John Singer Sargent, Dodge Macknight, John Marin, Charles Demuth,
Childe Hassam, Walter Gay, Mary Cassatt, and Charles Burchfield.

DESCRIPTION: Hardcover.8.5”x11.5”, xv + 24 pages plus 9 color and 21 black
& white plates with facing descriptions.

CONDITION NOTES: The covers have some light soil and a rubbed portion at
the top of the front cover (please see the photos). The book itself has
some minor wear, and light internal soil, but otherwise is clean and nice,
with a tight binding.
