One-page letter SIGNED in full on personal stationery by the author of A 
CLOCKWORK ORANGE. To the curator of the Lockwood Memorial Library at the 
State University of New York in Buffalo. Single-spaced @200 words mostly 
about James Joyce's ULYSSES: "I don't think that, on naturalistic 
grounds, Joyce can be excused. He just didn't know the army set-up on 
Gibraltar at first hand." Also discusses Burgess's fondness for cigars.
