ROOSEVELT, Theodore. THE STRENUOUS LIFE. ESSAYS AND ADDRESSES. New York:
Century Company, 1902. Revised Edition. Later Printing. INSCRIBED and
SIGNED by the author as President on the front endpaper: "To W. W.
Jermane/with regards of/Theodore Roosevelt/Jan 30th 1903." Pasted to the
front pastedown is a 1903 letter from the White House signed by
Roosevelt's secretary forwarding this volume. Jermane was on the
Executive Committee for Roosevelt's 1905 Inauguration Ceremony. Some
offsetting from letter onto inscription but not detrimental. Near Fine.
