London: Privately Printed. 1910. 2 volumes. Lg. 4to. (16),600;(4),(601)-1096,lxx pp. Indices. Text profusely illustrated with hundreds of facsimiles and with 40 added plates, some printed in color. Edition limited to 100 sets. Bound in half dark blue morocco & blue textured cloth, spine extremities with a few small chips, hinges somewhat rubbed, but overall a very good, sound set. Laid into Vol. 1 is a 3-page autograph letter dated Dec. 10, 1883, signed by Murray to a "Mr. Ellis" regarding early printed books.	$1,250.00 (trade discount allowed)
This original edition of only 100 sets is one of the rarest reference tools on early printed books. The long descriptions and notes are very useful.
