Cont. paneled calf, red morocco spine label. Short split at top of front hinge, otherwise very nice. Important scholarly edition of the "lexicon of the ten Greek orators," the 2nd century text of Valerius Harpocration. With extensive notes in Latin by Gionovius and Henricus de Valois (the second part). Added to this text is the essay by Henri Estienne "In Isocratem Diatribe." There is another edition without the notes of Valois (the entire second part) that was offered by the publisher, also in 1696.
