First edition of Corsari's rare treatise on Gregorian chants and more modern liturgical music. The body of the work deals with the technicalities of both kinds of music, giving numerous examples, while the last 29 pages are devoted to two compositions: the first, CHRISTUS with organ accompaniment by D. Giuseppe Cervelli is contained in four pages while the second, a mass for two voices with organ accompaniment by D. Alessandro Speranza, is contained in the remainder. OCLC records 1 copy in the U.
