First Edition. Originally published in 1948, this is the First Printing 
of this new edition of Skinner's classic modern Utopian novel, here 
published with a new preface by the author. INSCRIBED and SIGNED by the 
author on the front endpaper: "To Elizabeth Hall/best regards/B. F. 
Skinner." Hall has underlined and made notes in red on about 20 pages. 
Still Near Fine in a Near Fine dustwrapper.

Elizabeth Hall, widow of award-winning children's book author Scott 
O'Dell, also wrote children's books and was the Managing Editor of
