Title page plus 52 very fine copper engraved plates and (4)pp. of explanatory text (i.e. 55 leaves). Rebacked in brown morocco over old dark marbled boards. Plates with light foxing and an old oil stain at bottom margin of the letterpress title and engraved leaf of dedication.          			$1,500.00
An uncommon Italian edition, OCLC recording only 4 copies. These plates were first re-engraved in 1790.
