of ads. Superb copy with both the cloth and gilt very bright and with a 
distinguished provenance bearing on the front pastedown the bookplate of 
John Quinn (1870-1924), arguably the most noted art collector in America 
in the early part of the twentieth century and early patron and promoter 
of a number of the most important writers of the century including 
Eliot, Joyce, and Yeats. This was lot 10777 in the Quinn sale of 1924.
