DISCUSSION: The first volume in what became a 3-volume set, using drawings
originally prepared for the Society for the Preservation of New England
Antiquities. This volume includes measured scale drawings of the
elevations, woodwork and interior details of the Holabird House in Falls
Village, Connecticut - the Van Cortlandt House in New York City - Graeme
Park House in Horsham, Pennsylvania - the Potts House in Valley Forge,
Pennsylvania - the Morris-Jumel House in New York - the
Vassall-Craigie-Longfellow House in Cambridge, Massachusetts - the
Wadsworth-Longfellow House in Portland, Maine - the Thomas bailey Aldrich
Memorial in Portsmouth, New Hampshire - the Highley House in Huntsville,
Connecticut - the Van Cortlandt Manor House in Croton-on-Hudson, New York.

DESCRIPTION: Hardcover. 12"x17.5", 6 pages of text plus 80 black & white
plates plates.

CONDITION NOTES: The covers have some wear and soil. The book interior has
some minor soil, but otherwise is clean and nice, with a tight binding.
