DISCUSSION: "The Theatric Tourist of 1805 is doubly rare: not only have
very few copies survived, but it is the only account of British theatre
compiled by a man who was both actor and manager as well as author and
artist". The full original title was: The Theatric Tourist; being a
genuine collection of correct views, with brief and authentic historical
accounts of all the Principal Provincial Theatres in the United Kingdom.
