1880-1885: First Moravian Church, Philadelphia, PA. . Original manuscript.
109pp, most with entries regarding ministerial activities. Bound in
flexible black leather, gilt cover title; front joint cracked, threads
holding. 5.75" x 3.5"   Good . Full Leather.
Rice was Pastor of the First Moravian Church, Franklin & Wood Streets,
Philadelphia. Home address: 823 North 7th St. (above Brown St.),
Philadelphia, PA. His notebook lists church officers (some women), and
contains a 45-page alphabetical list of church members and their addresses,
with the dates of his pastoral calls to various members. Also noted are
clerical calls to persons not members of his church, and their addresses.
Pages 84-85 contain the names and addresses of "infants baptized," while
pp. 94-99 record "marriages solemnized," and pp. 102-109, "funerals
attended" with ages of the deceased. At the back is a list of "engagements"
