TITLE: “Transactions of the American Ceramic Society, comprising the
papers and discussions of the First Annual Meeting, held at Columbus,
Ohio, February 6-8, 1899 [with] the Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth,
Transactions”

Published in Columbus, Ohio between 1899 and 1904.

DISCUSSION: The first six years of Transactions of this important body,
with many technical papers covering all aspects of the American ceramics
industry, including machinery, glazes, clays, manufacturing, and more.
Bound a bit oddly, with transactions 1,2 & 3 in a single binding,
Transactions 4 & 6 in a single binding, and Transactions 5 in its own
binding.

DESCRIPTION: Hardcovers. Bound in 3 volumes. 6”x9”, 1,635 pages, black &
white plates (several folding) and line illustrations.

CONDITION NOTES: Covers with some soil and wear, hinges all broken and
contents detached from the covers (please see the bottom photo, below). 
Contents with some minor scattered soil and wear, but mostly clean and
good.

Published in Columbus, Ohio, in 1915.

DISCUSSION: The 17th set of Transactions of this important body, with many
technical papers covering all aspects of the American ceramics industry,
including machinery, glazes, clays, manufacturing, and more.

DESCRIPTION: Hardcover. 6”x9”, 815 pages, black & white and line
illustrations.

CONDITION NOTES: The covers have some light wear and soil, and a few paint
spots (please see the photo, above). The book itself has some minor wear,
light soil, and the hinges are a bit wobbly.

technical papers covering all aspects of the American ceramics industry,
including machinery, glazes, clays, manufacturing, and more.

DESCRIPTION: Hardcover. 6”x9”, 947 pages, black & white and line
illustrations.

CONDITION NOTES: The covers have some light soil and wear (please see the
photo, above). The rear cover has several creases, and the contents have
some minor wear, and the front hinge is cracked and very loose.
