CARTER, Jimmy. FAREWELL ADDRESS OF PRESIDENT JIMMY CARTER. JANUARY 14, 
1981. [Winston-Salem, NC]: Palaemon Press Limited, (December 1981). 
First Edition. Bound in full blue cloth with gilt lettering on the 
spine. Prints Carter's 9-page farewell address on heavy paper. One of 
300 copies printed and SIGNED in full by the former President as "Jimmy 
Carter" on the title page. Half of the edition was reserved for Carter; 
the other half was issued for sale by the publisher. This copy is 
numbered 76 in ink on the colophon page, certainly a desireable number 
as Carter was elected in 1976. One of the most difficult Carter titles 
to find and a poorly made book. Of the half dozen copies we have 
examined over the years, all were loosely stitched in their casings 
causing the text block to slide up and down. This copy is no different, 
but is only the third copy we have seen with a slipcase. Near Fine in 
slipcase with printed paper label and quite scarce. (#014091)
