Oxford: E Typographeo Clarendoniano. 1792. Lg. folio (17" tall). (2),vi,xxx,(2),472pp. Double column text in Greek and Latin. With an extensive 3-column concordance comparing this Oxford edition of Archimedes with the earlier Basil and Florentine editions. Title page with a copper engraved medallic bust of Archimedes. Illustrated with 2 copper engraved plats, one a frontispiece, the other a memorial of the editor "Josepho Torello." Text illustrated throughout with woodcut diagrams. 19th century brick cloth, paper spine label, over marbled boards, corners somewhat worn. Some foxing of the frontispiece and title, otherwise a bright, clean copy. Very scarce.	$2,500.00 (trade discount allowed)
