Club, 1972. Octavo (6-1/8" x 9-3/4") bound in a light sepia 
English-finish buckram bbearing an allover design of roundles in dark 
sepia and a shelfback of matte-finish black buckram titled in gold leaf; 
400 pages. The Leo Wiener translation, newly revised. In his 
introduction John Bayley states: "No writer in the world has written 
better and more understandingly of childhood and adolescence than 
Tolstoy." Designed by Joseph Blumenthal at the Spiral Press and 
illustrated with 14 full-page and 6 part-page wood engravings by Fritz 
Eichenberg printed at the press of A. Colish. Copy #1087 of 1500 SIGNED 
by the artist on the colophon page. Monthly Letter laid in. Fine in
