London: Printed for J. Mawman et al. 1817. 7 vols.: six 8vo. vols of text, plus the atlas (plate) vol. in 4to. The plate volume with 41 plates: a copper engraved frontispiece portrait of Barthelemy; a large folding map of Greece outlined in color; and 39 copper engraved plates (most double-page), including 26 maps & plans (11 outlined in cont. color). Text vols. bound in cont. black calf, gilt, over marbled boards, rather worn, front cover of Vol. I detached, some chipping at extremities of spines of a few volumes. The atlas vol. spine has been covered (reinforced) with heavy red linen binder's tape over the orig. marbled boards (worn).
