4.  KENNEDY, JOHN. F.  PHOTOGRAPH INSCRIBED TO GERARD DOHERTY. 
Inscribed by John F Kennedy. 10 x 8". Near fine. Gerard Doherty was a 
personal friend of JFK. A lifelong resident of Charlestown, Doherty 
served four terms in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. He 
was campaign manager for Sen. Edward Kennedy and chairman of the 
Massachusetts Democratic State Committee from 1962-1967.  He was 
Presidential campaign director for President Carter and Senator 
Robert Kennedy. He was a recipient of the John F. Kennedy Library and 
Museum's "Irishman of the Year" award, presented annually by the 
Friends of the Kennedy Library to honor President Kennedy's love of 
his own Irish heritage, and his belief that one person can make a 
difference and every person should try. Remnant of adhesive on verso.

KENNEDY.  1960. Good. Includes White House envelope and 4 cent stamp.

6.  KENNEDY, JOHN. F.  TYPED LETTER ON CONGRESSIONAL STATIONERY, 
SIGNED.  August 21, 1952. Signed by John F. Kennedy. 8 1/4 x 6 1/4". 
Fair. Two stains, lower left-hand corner torn off (1/4 inch), 
acid-free mounting tape to upper corners on verso. Authentic signed 
letter to personal friend, James Mullin about his running for Senate. 
Mullin was a Marine fighter pilot in WWII (part of Baa Baa Black 
Sheep Squadron). He was later a state rep in MA. No envelope.

Inscribed by the author to Jimmy Quinn. 8vo. 391 & index pgs.  Near 
fine/In like jacket/in mylar. Not price-clipped. Traces of wear to 
jacket.  Quinn was a political associate of JFK.  $90.00
