covers and gilt lettering on the spine. Illustrated with a frontispiece 
portrait of Douglass and a number of full-page engravings. xx, [ii], 
13-518 pages. Introduction by George Ruffin. His third and final 
autobiography, encompassing the previous two. Blockson 9648. Two or 
three signatures sprung with some pages loose as a result. Minor wear to
