Trial of the Conspirators for the Assassination of President Lincoln, &c.  Argument of John A. Bingham, Special Judge Advocate.  In reply to the arguments of the several counsel for Mary E. Surratt, David E. Herold, Lewis Payne, [etc.].  Delivered June 27 and 28, 1865, before the Military Commission, Washington, D.C.  Washington: Government Printing Office, 1865.  8vo, original buff printed wrappers.  122 pp.  Some spotting and staining to the wrappers, prelims and terminal leaves; slight erosion to one spot on the spine; lower right corner creased.  A good or better copy.  First edition of Bingham's argument.  It was also included in Benn Pittman's transcript of the trial, published later in 1865.
