BURROUGHS, John. SIGNED PHOTOGRAPH.  Fine side profile from the 
shoulders up of an elderly Burroughs. Signed by the photographer Falk on 
the mount with his small copyright blindstamp in the image at the lower 
left. The image (4-3/8" x 6-1/4") is tipped to a dark stiff mount 
(7-1/2" x 11-3/8") and is SIGNED by the author in ink beneath the image. 
On the verso in dark pencil is a note to return the photograph to "C. 
Barrus, Roxbury, NY," likely in the hand of Clara Barrus, devoted 
companion and the official biographer of Burroughs. Burroughs is scarce 
in signed photographs. Signature strong; slight crease to upper corner
