I can offer...

Scotland: Her Songs and Scenery. As sung by her Bards, and Seen in the Camera. London: A. W. Bennett, 1868. First edition. Illustrated with 14 original mounted albumen photos by Stephen Thompson and 4 by P. Ewing. 8vo, bound in publisher’s full dark green morocco, with elaborate gilt- and blind-tooled borders and decorations on the covers and spine, a.e.g. [ix], 192 pp. Some modest rubbing to the edges of the binding; several of the photo mounts are chipped at the leading edge (the paper is heavily sized and quite fragile), and one photo is missing its tissue guard; otherwise a very good copy. The photos are still rich in tone; the binding design, which is signed “JL,” features heraldic devices within a thistle-and-rose border. This leather binding—a fine example of a Victorian publishers’ binding--seems to be much less common than the cloth version (which featured the same design).
