Binding with bumping to the corners, slight loss to the spine ends, spine somewhat creased and cracked, front and rear joints cracked at the top and bottom but both boards are secure; generally mild toning to the leaves (most noticeable on the first and last few leaves), a few spots of soiling, three leaves with closed tears; otherwise clean and sound. Front paste-down with the early engraved armorial bookplate of John Ward.
