HISTORICAL NOTES. London: Charles Knight, 1825. First Edition. Octavo 
(5-1/4" x 8-3/4") rebound in modern blue cloth, sympathetic to a 19th 
century binding, stamped in gilt; [2], xviii, [2], 327, [1] pages. With 
an engraved title page and a folding facsimile of the first page of the 
manuscript. Teonge completed three voyages to the Mediterranean where he 
searched for pirates, landed in Syria, and visited Malta, and other 
locations. Mild, occasional foxing; last few pages of the index soiled.
