TITLE: “European Works of Art from the Private Collection and Gallery of
the Blumka Estate”

The catalog to an auction held in New York by Sotheby’s on January 9-10,
1996.

DISCUSSION: For several generations in Europe, and later in New York, the
Blumka galleries dealt in the finest quality Medieval and Renaissance art
and antiques. But, like all dealers, they collected as well, and this
auction featured the stunning private collection of Leopold and Ruth
Blumka.

DESCRIPTION: Hardcover. 8.5”x11”, 291 pages, 445 lots, color
illustrations, dust jacket. Most prices realised noted in pen.

CONDITION NOTES:  The dust jacket has a little minor wear. The catalog
itself is clean and nice, with a tight binding.
