Orig. dark green morocco, gilt tooled ornament at each corner of both covers & gilt ruled. This copy with text ruled in red throughout. Extremities of binding somewhat rubbed, but quite sound. According to Madan's A NEW BIBLIOGRAPHY OF THE EIKON BASILIKE this is #62, the "second issue" with "Ro. Vaughan sculp" added to the signature of the frontispiece; this copy without the added Explanation leaf, as usual (Madan states "wanting in most copies"). This is Almack #48. Wing E-311.
