"Catalogue and Price List - Nichols & Co., Publishers of The Reporter and
Dealers in Marble and Granite Workers' Supplies, Stone, Masons' and
Miners' Hammers, Tools, Etc. - Job Printing for the Trade a Specialty"

 Chicago: 1882.

A fascinating catalog, with equally fascinating inserts, from a firm that
not only supplied tools, materials and finished goods to the gravestone
and memorial and funeral trades, but did job printing for them as well.
There are illustrations of dummy funeral newspapers, programs and
advertisements which just need personalization to be ready for your
business. With a small sample insert from 'The Reporter', a single-sheet
listing of granite & monument design books, a folding brochure showing
more Reporter broadsheets, and a folding brochure with black and white and
colored illustrations of their patented "Combination Designs", 5 foot-high
folding colored card illustrations of memorials in a handy carrying case.

Softcover. 8"x11", 58 pages, black & white illustrations, with extras as
described above. The catalog has some wear and soil, and a large chunk out
of the cover on the bottom corner. [39624]

PRICE: $350
