TITLE: “The Little London Directory of 1677. The Oldest Printed List of
the Merchants and Bankers of London”

Published in London by John Camden Hotten in 1863.

DISCUSSION: "Reprinted from the exceedingly rare original; with an
introduction pointing out some of the most eminent merchants of the
period".

DESCRIPTION: Hardcover. 4"x5.5", xxii + about 150 pages; bound in the
publisher's full gilt-decorated black cloth with rules, emblems and
rampant gryphons; marbled endpapers; all edges gilt.

CONDITION NOTES: The covers have some light wear and soil and minor
chipping and a split in the cloth along the front spine. The book interior
has some minor soil and foxing but otherwise is clean and nice, with a
tight binding.
