First edition.  Square 8vo, original yellow boards, lacking the dustjacket, [163] pp.  With approximately 164 photos and drawings, including 12 pages of color photos.  Some fading to the spine and rear cover, minor spotting to the binding, overall in very good condition.
 
Inscribed on the title page, “to Mac Doty, Greetings, ahoy!  Sandy Calder, h.c. 12/12.”  Robert “Mac” Doty was an Assistant Curator at the Whitney Museum and later curator at the Currier Gallery of Art in Manchester, NH.
