KHAYYAM, Omar. THE RUBAIYAT OF OMAR KHAYYAM. Limited Editions Club,
1935. Duodecimo (4" x 6") bound in full mustard morocco leather with
gilt lettering on the spine and an elaborate peacock and floral design
blindstamped on both covers; 80 pages. The text is carefully selected
from the five various editions of Edward Fitzgerald's translation. One
of 1500 numbered copies printed on imported Japanese Kozo paper, folded
double in Japanese fashion, with every page printed with a floriated
design in four colors additionally illuminated by Valenti Angelo, by
hand, with pure gold or pure silver. SIGNED by the artist on the
colophon page. Small blemish to spine of book. About an inch section of
chemise lacking. Near Fine in a Good chemise and a tape-repaired
