SHAKESPEARE, William. THE POEMS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE. New York: 
Limited Editions Club, 1941. Two folio volumes (8-1/2" x 13-3/4") bound 
in half natural buckram, gold stamped, gilt top, with lovely paper sides 
printed in four colors to conform to the bindings of the set of 
Shakespeare's plays by the same publisher. Edited by Herbert Farjeon, 
who created the Nonesuch edition text of Shakespeare, to restore the 
original typographic style and spelling; typography planned and 
production supervised by Bruce Rogers with printing by A. Colish 
resulting in a pretty and very readable set of these poems including the 
classic sonnets. Of a total of 1500 copies SIGNED by the designer on the 
colophon page, this copy is not numbered (in place of the number is 
written in ink "Printer's Copy") and bears the Club's blindstamp stating 
it is one of 15 presentation copies. Spines a bit darkened, as usual for
