The Second Edition with Large Additions. London: Printed for Henry Herringman et al. 1680-1685. Folio (15" x 10"). 4 volumes bound in 3, each with its own title page (the final 2 parts bear the imprint, "Printed for the Author's widow, by Miles Flesher," and they are dated 1685). (12),960,(34);(16),727,(13),(6),208,(4);(6),518,(10),(6),464,(18)pp. Indices (for each vol.). Title pages printed in red & black. Full polished cont. calf, a bit worn, elaborately gilt tooled edges and dentelles. All vols. are rebacked in modern brown buckram with pink paper spine labels. Occasional foxing, mostly confined to the outer leaves of each volume. Rubber stamp of "The Royal Institution of Great Britain" on the first title page of each vol. A few leaves of Vol. I a bit browned (
