An amazing undertaking, compiled by the bibliographical genius, William Lowndes, assisted by Bernard Quaritch. This is a presentation copy to the Kelso Library from the publisher. 1,936 pages, plus index and advertisements and contains 300,000 titles. The catalogue sold for one guinea and cost over two thousand pounds ($200,000. now) to publish.  $360.00
