Blind stamped gray goatskin over gray linen. Front cover with a 3-dimensional inlay depiction of the Eiger formed from goatskin and actual rock granules scraped from the face of the Eiger. Housed in publisher's black cloth clamshell box with leather spine label. Laid in at front is the limited Editions Club prospectus. Fine, as new.	$1,500.00 (trade discount allowed)
The Eiger is in the Swiss Alps and Heinrich Harrer (1912-2006) was part of the four-man climbing team that made the first ascent of its North Face in 1938.
