One of hundreds of titles from the Limited Editions Club in our
inventory, including a number of books still in their original shipping
boxes, as well as presentation and publisher's copies, portfolios of
signed prints, and pieces of original art, including in some cases the
entire set of original drawings and even unused pieces.
SHAKESPEARE, William. THE TRAGEDY OF HAMLET, PRINCE OF DENMARK. [High
Wycombe]: [Limited Editions Club], [1933]. Octavo (5-1/4" x 8") bound in
full blind-stamped pigskin leather and typeset and printed by hand on
Barcham Green paper by Hague and Gill. Copy #210 of 1500 designed and
decorated with wood engravings by Eric Gill and SIGNED by the artist on
the colophon page. A beautiful book, often found quite worn because of
the nature of the pigskin binding, this copy is significantly better
than average, with only mild darkening to the spine and slight rubbing
to the tips but with no chips. One page opened roughly. About Fine in a
Near Fine slipcase, complete with some fading. (#014446) $850.00
