With the 3 blanks, V3 and V4 (1" of leaf V3 clipped off at the bottom), and CC8. Old vellum. Blank 1/2" strip at the bottom of the title-page remargined. Title with a few small worm holes, and light worming to the final few leaves, touching a few letters in the colophon. One gathering ("FF") somewhat browned, as often found.	$1,250.00 (trade discount allowed)
The second Aldine edition of Lactantius, but called by Renouard (p. 113 #2) "Tres bonne edition, bien superieure a celle de 1515." This edition was edited and revised by Onorato Fascitelli (1502-1564). This copy with signature * bound after bb, as in the second copy in the Ahmanson-Murphy Collection (#243a). CNCE 27234.
