DISCUSSION: "The nine papers published in this volume were originally
given at a symposium held at Johns Hopkins University in 1984. They cover
visual storytelling in ancient Western Asia, Egypt, Greece and the Far
East, as well as in medieval Christian Europe and Islamic Persia." Number
IV in the Center for Advanced Studies in the Visual Arts Symposium series,
and Volume 16 in the Studies in the History of Art series.

DESCRIPTION: Softcover. 9"x11", 181 pages, black & white illustrations.

CONDITION NOTES: The covers have some light wear and soil. The book
interior has some minor soil, but otherwise is clean and nice, with a
tight binding.
